Thursday last day for Qataris to register for Hajj pilgrimage: Awqaf

The last date for Qatari citizens to register to perform Hajj this year is Thursday (May 12), the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has said. The registration can be done through the website of the Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs (www.hajj.gov.qa).
There has been a high volume of applicants for since the registration began two weeks ago, the ministry said, adding that the registration process through the website can be carried out with ease. Once the registration is done, the applicant receives an SMS confirming it and a reference number.
The ministry called on citizens wishing to perform Hajj to register quickly before the end of working hours on Thursday.
As per the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia, only those aged between 18 and 65 and received the basic doses of a COVID-19 vaccine are eligible to register for the Hajj pilgrimage.
Those wishing to register for Hajj this year can learn about all the requirements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the website of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The Ministry of Awqaf noted that the electronic screening process will take place after the end of the registration period for everyone who meets the conditions, after verifying the validity of the data recorded in the program in coordination with the competent authorities.
It is worth noting that the Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs has designated a hotline number 132, which allows the public to communicate with the Department during the morning period from 9-12 in the afternoon and during the evening period from (4-8), to inquire about everything related to the operation Registration and Hajj season for this year.
