Rastec Real Estate holds groundbreaking for mixed-use building project

Doha: Rastec Real Estate Division is diversifying into a new era in the real estate sector to own and operate its own building with 62 fully furnished executive bachelor suites and commercial space at Umm Salal.

This facility shall provide a comfortable and convenient stay for executive bachelors at an affordable rent.

This project is slated to be completed in a year and the construction is under progress.

Ras Trading & Services Co. (Rastec Group) has been successfully operating in Qatar for over two decades. The Group consists of: Rastec Consultancy Division (ISO and other related certifications); Rastec Chemical Division (industrial chemical cleaning services at offshore and onshore locations); Rastec Trading Division (trading in oil, gas and marine supplies with showroom in Barwa Village); Rastec Hospitality Division (supply materials and maintenance to hotel sector); Rastec Metal Division (buying project surplus materials and scrap materials); and Rastec Real Estate Division (renting thousands of units including villas, apartments, and commercial space among others, and is now venturing into the construction sector).

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new apartment building project was held at Umm Salal and the stone laying was facilitated by Abdul Hameed K.C, Managing Director of Rastec Group.

This is the pilot project of KC Brothers - Hanad Ali K.C( Project Engineer cum Director) and Asad Mohammed K.C (Director – Marketing). They also have future plans and projects in line with the 2030 vision of the Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. They expect an increase in demand for accommodation in all cities across Qatar and plan to rapidly expand the real estate’s portfolio to meet the increasing demand.

In future, they too have plans to include Free Hold residential projects which would be affordable for the middle-class expats.
