The participants of a round table meeting held yesterday by Embassy of Kazakhstan observed that the Republic of Kazakhstan is confidently and progressively realising all initiated reforms, achieving its goals and playing an important role in the world politics.
The round table was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Doha with the participation of representatives of state bodies and non-governmental organisations of Qatar, diplomatic corps accredited in Qatar and representatives of local media.
It was dedicated to the Annual Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan on January 31, 2017, entitled "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness". Ambassadors and diplomats of several European, Arab and Asian countries took part in the event.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Askar Shokybaev, informed the audience about the main pillars of the five priorities of the Address of the Head of State. The participants of the round table were thoroughly acquainted with the address. In particular, the focus was made on large-scale political and socio-economic reforms, state programmes, as well as on the initiatives of Kazakhstan in the political, economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Also during the event the ambassadors of Ukraine, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, as well as representatives of government bodies and non-governmental organisations and media of Qatar delivered their statements and underlined Kazakhstan's success in building a strong and developed state and, in this context, the importance of the "Third Modernization of Kazakhstan".
