Cabinet approves partnership pact between Qatar and IPI

At the outset of the meeting, the Cabinet was briefed by the Minister of Public Health on the latest developments in efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19. The Cabinet affirmed the continuation of work with the procedures and precautionary measures that have been taken in order to combat the pandemic.
The Cabinet then approved a draft partnership agreement between the government of Qatar and the International Peace Institute (IPI).
It also approved a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of adapting with climate change and green growth between the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in Qatar and the Global Green Growth Institute.
The Cabinet then reviewed the annual reports on the activities of Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) and its financial position and took appropriate measures.
It also reviewed the outcomes of the fifth meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Food Safety.
